Kepong: Encorp Berhad (ENCORP) has initiated a specialised environmental programme in collaboration with the Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM), launching a dedicated tree-planting project at the institute's campus in Kepong.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the initiative took place at the FRIM Forest Park Selangor, recently recognised as Malaysia's sixth UNESCO World Heritage Site. Under the guidance of FRIM's researchers, ENCORP employees planted 20 indigenous forest species. This collaboration prioritises long-term monitoring and high-survival rates, ensuring each sapling contributes meaningfully to the biodiversity of this globally recognised conservation site.
