Ruling Party President Meets with Working Group from Oregon, USA

Phnom penh: Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP), received a CPP working group from Oregon, USA, at the January 7 Palace.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the meeting was announced by H.E. Chea Thyrith, Spokesperson for the party. The delegation was led by Mr. Seng Sam Un, Chairman of the CPP in Oregon, and coordinated by Oknha Srey Chanthan, Deputy Head of the CPP’s West Coast Region in the United States.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen welcomed the delegation and expressed his pleasure at meeting party members living abroad. During the meeting, he shared an overview of Cambodia’s situation, recalling his leadership and sacrifices in liberating the nation from the genocidal regime and guiding its post-war reconstruction.

He highlighted Cambodia’s continued progress under the leadership of Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, who is steering national development. Additionally, Samdech Techo addressed the current Cambodia-Thailand border situation, emphasizing the Royal Government’s efforts to restore stability and normalcy.

He encouraged overseas CPP members to stay informed about the situation in Cambodia and to share the country’s achievements with the international community. He concluded by wishing the overseas working group success in their political and social missions.
