PRC brings key frontline services at Robinsons malls

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), an attached agency of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), now brings its key frontline services closer to the public through the PRC Service Centers located at selected Robinsons Malls nationwide.

As PRC leads today the grand launching of its service centers in Robinsons Galleria Cebu, Labor Secretary Silvestre H. Bello III congratulated the Commission, headed by Chairman Teofilo S. Pilando Jr., for making its services more accessible to the public.

He encouraged PRC clients, particularly registered professionals and applicants of licensure examinations to visit any of the service centers for transactions, such as application for licensure examination; renewal of professional identification card; issuance of duplicate professional identification card; and certification and authentication of professional identification card, board certificate, and board rating.

In partnership with Robinsons Land Corporation, PRC has established nine offsite service centers at the following Robinsons Mall locations: Santiago City, Isabela; Ermita, Manila; Ortigas Center, Quezon City; Cebu City, Cebu; Iloilo City, Iloilo; Bacolod, Negros Occidental; Dumaguete, Negros Oriental; Butuan City, Agusan Del Norte; and General Santos City, South Cotabato.

To cater to more clients, nine additional PRC service centers are expected to be operational before the year ends.

In June 2016, PRC Chairman Pilando, signed a memorandum of agreement with Robinsons Land Corporation President Frederick D. Go for the establishment of PRC Service Centers at Robinsons Malls nationwide. Temporary service kiosks were initially set-up, which were replaced by permanent PRC service centers in the succeeding months.

As of date, almost 100,000 clients have been collectively served by the PRC Service Centers at Robinsons Malls.

Located at Lingkod Pinoy Centers of Robinsons Malls, the PRC Service Centers operate from Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
