Banteay meanchey: Banteay Meanchey Provincial Governor H.E. Oum Reatrey today extended deep gratitude to Cambodians living overseas for their generous donation of essential medicines and medical equipment aimed at supporting border health workers, soldiers, and vulnerable local communities.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the official handover ceremony was held this morning at the provincial hall, bringing together provincial authorities, medical teams, and representatives of the donor groups. Addressing the event, H.E. Oum Reatrey expressed his deepest gratitude to overseas Cambodians for their contribution, emphasizing its importance for frontline health workers and local citizens along the border areas.
The Governor noted that this act reflects the strong patriotism and spirit of national unity shared by Cambodians worldwide. He highlighted the broader significance of the aid, describing it as a demonstration of collective commitment to national defence, border protection, and the well-being of people in border regions.
He further emphasized that this act of solidarity underscores the enduring love and responsibility Cambodians feel toward their country, proving that all Cambodians, regardless of their location, remain united in supporting national causes.
