MFA Press Statement: Visit of Brady-Johnson Distinguished Practitioner in Grand Strategy at Yale University Jake Sullivan under the S R Nathan Fellowship, 15 to 17 January 2018

Mr Jake Sullivan, Brady-Johnson Distinguished Practitioner in Grand Strategy at Yale University, was hosted to lunch by Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan today. During the lunch, Minister Balakrishnan and Mr Sullivan had a wide-ranging conversation, including a fruitful exchange of views on regional and international developments and the US’ role in the world. Mr Sullivan also called on Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen earlier today.

Mr Sullivan is visiting Singapore from 15 to 17 January 2018 under the S R Nathan Fellowship. Launched in November 2012, the S R Nathan Fellowship is a high-level programme where foreign leaders, prominent personalities and opinion-shapers are invited to Singapore to exchange ideas and experiences on important issues with Singapore leaders and senior government officials.
