Johor bahru: Johor Motorsports Racing (JMR) today announced a new major partnership with premium automotive protection film company XPEL for the upcoming race season, further strengthening JMR’s position as one of Asia’s leading motorsports teams.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, following JMR’s podium result at the Suzuka 1000 endurance race in September, XPEL has expanded its commitment from being an event to a season-long partner for 2026.
JMR’s president and principal driver, Tunku Panglima Johor Tunku Abdul Rahman Sultan Ibrahim, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, highlighting that XPEL is a perfect partner for the team as JMR strives for continued success across the Intercontinental GT Challenge and Asian Le Mans Series in 2026. He noted his satisfaction with XPEL’s products, citing their importance in maintaining the car’s performance and appearance during long endurance races.
Meanwhile, XPEL Asia Pacific vice president Chris West remarked on the significant correlations between JMR and XPEL, particularly regarding their shared commitment to performance and precision. He emphasized that the partnership allows XPEL to connect with passionate enthusiasts while showcasing how their protection products perform in demanding motorsport environments.
