INCIDENT AT LONDON’S OXFORD STREET

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is closely monitoring the mass panic at Oxford Streets and Oxford Circus Underground station following numerous reports of shots fired on 24 November 2017. Late in the evening, the London police reported that they had not found evidence of shots fired or any suspects and the situation is back to normal.

About nine people were reportedly injured.

So far, there is no report of Malaysians involved in the incident. Malaysians are advised to remain vigilant and follow the instructions by local authorities.
