Phnom penh: The Cambodia-Thailand General Border Committee (GBC) Secretariat continued in-depth discussions on key documents aimed at strengthening mutual trust and the implementation of the ceasefire agreement, on the third day of their meeting in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Oct. 22.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the Secretariat teams are focusing on documents that serve as inputs to enhance the effectiveness, mutual confidence, and coordination in implementing the ceasefire agreement between both sides.
The ongoing GBC Secretariat meeting is being held in preparation for the second Special Cambodia-Thailand GBC Meeting, scheduled to take place tomorrow.
Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence H.E. Gen. Tea Seiha, who arrived in Kuala Lumpur this morning to attend the special meeting, expressed optimism that the event will yield fruitful outcomes and further promote peace, cooperation, development, and a swift return to normalcy.
