Phnom Penh: Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet this morning expressed confidence that the Cambodian people need peace and development because they are tired of political unrest.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the Prime Minister made his remarks during the groundbreaking ceremony for a wastewater treatment system project in Takhmao city, Kandal province. He stated that citizens are weary of political turmoil and emphasized the necessity for peace and development in areas such as infrastructure and healthcare.
The Prime Minister assured that Cambodia will continue to move forward as long as peace and stability are maintained. He declared that with the absence of fighting, division, and killing, the country will keep progressing by sharing achievements and creating more opportunities for everyone.
Samdech Thipadei also underscored the long-standing role of the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP), which has led the government for over four decades. He affirmed the party’s commitment to building even more for the people, highlighting the numerous accomplishments made under its leadership.
