Cambodia-Thailand Police Meeting on Cross-border Crimes Postponed Again

Battambang: The second meeting between the Cambodian National Police and the Royal Thai Police, initially set for October 13, 2025, in Kamrieng district, Battambang province, has been postponed once more at the request of the Thai side. This information was revealed through a press release from the Cambodian National Police.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the meeting aimed to review a draft action plan focused on cooperation to prevent and suppress cross-border crimes, such as cybercrime and human trafficking. This meeting was a follow-up to the first meeting held on September 16, 2025, in Thailand’s Sa Kaeo province, which was organized in line with the spirit of the first Special Cambodia-Thailand General Border Committee (GBC) Meeting on September 10, 2025, in Cambodia’s Koh Kong province.

Both police forces had previously agreed to conduct the second meeting on September 26, but it was postponed due to an earlier request from the Thai side.
