Cambodia and Morocco Enhance Bilateral Ties Through Virtual Meeting

Phnom penh: H.E. PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia, engaged in a virtual meeting with H.E. Nasser BOURITA, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, to discuss the strengthening of multi-sectoral collaboration between Cambodia and Morocco.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the meeting focused on reinforcing the longstanding friendship and bilateral cooperation in key areas of mutual interest. The Foreign Ministers explored various strategies to deepen their countries’ partnership, emphasizing the importance of preparing for the upcoming 20th Francophonie Summit, scheduled to take place in Cambodia in 2026. Additionally, the ministers exchanged views on regional and international issues that are of shared concern to both nations.

The meeting concluded with the signing of a Joint Communiqu©, which marks a significant milestone in the relationship between the two Kingdoms. This document aims to provide a comprehensive roadmap for enhanced collaboration across multiple sectors, thereby solidifying the commitment of Cambodia and Morocco to work closely together in the coming years.
