Cambodia Aiming for 45 Percent Medal Haul at SEA Taekwondo ITF Championship


Phnom penh: Cambodia is setting its sights on capturing between 45 and 50 percent of the 145 medals available at the 2nd SEA ITF Championship, scheduled to take place in Phnom Penh at the National Olympic Stadium from June 26 to 30.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, H.E. Him Rida, an International Coach with a 6th Dan Black Belt and Deputy Secretary General of the Cambodia Taekwondo ITF Federation, recently expressed optimism about the country’s prospects at the championship. To achieve this ambitious goal, Cambodian athletes from various categories, including U13, U15, U17, and senior fighters, have been rigorously training and are fully committed to bringing home success for the nation.

H.E. Him Rida, speaking on behalf of all Cambodian Taekwondo ITF coaches, emphasized the dedication to enhancing the technical skills of the athletes. This commitment is aimed at building their confidence and improving their performance in international competitions.
