CAAP Announces Flight Cancellations Due to Tropical Storm Ramil

Manila: The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) reported flight cancellations on Sunday as a result of adverse weather conditions caused by Tropical Storm Ramil.

According to Philippines News Agency, the affected flights include multiple routes operated by Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific Air, and CebGo. Philippine Airlines has canceled flights such as PAL2014 and PAL2015 between Manila and Tuguegarao, as well as PAL2932 and PAL2933 between Manila and Basco, among others. Cebu Pacific Air’s cancellations include CEB506 and CEB507 on the Manila-Tuguegarao route and CEB821 and CEB822 between Manila and Virac. Additionally, CebGo has suspended flights like SRQ6113 and SRQ6114 on the Manila-Naga route, among other routes.

CAAP emphasized its commitment to monitoring weather developments closely and maintaining active coordination with airline operators and airport authorities to ensure the safety and welfare of travelers.
