Estoril: Malaysian motorcycling star Muhammad Hakim Danish Ramli began the 2025 Junior Grand Prix (JrGP) World Championship with a second-place finish at Circuit do Estoril, Portugal.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Brian Uriarte of UAX SeventyTwo Artbox claimed victory with a time of 27 minutes 45.045 seconds. Hakim Danish, representing SIC Racing-MSI, secured second place with a gap of 7.931 seconds, while Rico Salmela from Estrella Galicia 0,0 took third place, finishing 10.403 seconds behind the leader.
Hakim Danish expressed gratitude for his performance, despite a challenging start to the race. “I know Brian has a better pace, and in the group just now I tried to follow but the pace of my group was a bit slow. For the next race, I will try to stay with him,” he stated.
The result places the 17-year-old rider in second place in the overall standings with 20 points, trailing Uriarte, who leads with 25 points. Last season, Hakim Danish finished 15th overall in his JrGP debut, collecting 46 points.
