TOMI Receives China CDC Registration Making SteraMist the Disinfection Industry Standard in China

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Feb. 04, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — TOMI Environmental Solutions, Inc.® (“TOMI”) (OTCQB:TOMZ), is a global company specializing in disinfection and decontamination, utilizing its premier Binary Ionization Technology (BIT) platform through its SteraMist products – a hydrogen peroxide-based mist and fog composed of ionized Hydrogen Peroxide (iHP). Effective immediately, SteraMist equipment and BIT solution has been registered with the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (China CDC).

After a three (3) year-long submission process, TOMI recently received confirmation that two (2) separate registrations – SteraMist equipment registration and BIT solution registration – have now been officially approved and registered with the China CDC.

SteraMist is now the industry standard for disinfection throughout all of China. This registration allows China to take advantage of SteraMist disinfection and decontamination in a variety of verticals such as healthcare, pharmaceutical, commercial and residential, schools, and throughout the community.

With the latest outbreak of coronavirus 2019-nCoV, TOMI is able to rapidly deploy SteraMist throughout the country as needed and requested. China’s registration adds to the long list of countries in which TOMI is registered and utilized.

TOMI’s CEO, Dr. Halden Shane, states “TOMI is excited to announced that we are now registered with the China CDC.  Throughout the world, SteraMist is used to eradicate enveloped viruses, similar to coronavirus, and is the superior disinfection for use in spaces such as transportation avenues, hospitals, and other emergency areas. After a long registration process, SteraMist is the industry standard and future of disinfection and decontamination throughout China, which is a substantial milestone for our company.”

Teledyne Princeton Instruments expands its groundbreaking NIRvana SWIR camera portfolio with unprecedented value-for-performance model

Teledyne Princeton Instruments’ NIRvana HS camera

The new NIRvana HS serves the scientific industrial and medical communities

TRENTON, N.J., Feb. 04, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Princeton Instruments announces the immediate availability of its newest offering in the NIRvana® SWIR portfolio: the NIRvana HS. The NIRvana HS offers an exciting, truly innovative set of world-class performance features utilizing the advantages of the second near-infrared window (NIR-II) window to meet the increasingly diverse needs of today’s scientific, industrial, and medical communities. Building on the success of the high performance NIRvana LN (liquid nitrogen cooled) and the NIRvana 640 (super-cooled), the NIRvana HS version combines speed, flexibility, performance and value, bringing new capability to both science and industry.

The new NIRvana HS camera provides a unique combination of features never before offered in a high performance SWIR camera. The HS runs at an amazing 250 frames per second in 16 bit mode and offers both integrate-then-read (ITR) and integrate-while-read (IWR) modes for low noise and high duty cycle. The advanced thermal design includes deep cooling to -55C and incorporates the most advanced vacuum sealed chamber to provide a lifetime of maintenance free operation. Advanced image correction ensures the camera delivers unmatched image quality. To further enhance the NIRvana HS experience, our LightField® software provides an intuitive interface and powerful analytical functions, eliminating the need for any 3rd party hardware or software.

“The NIRvana HS is one of the most exciting camera projects we have undertaken,” comments Michael Melle, imaging product manager at Princeton Instruments. “The HS has been conceived and designed based on feedback from customers who have used not only our products, but our competitors as well. It fills the void between lower cost industrial designs and super-cooled (-80° C) SWIR cameras, enabling broadly applied research and the implementation of SWIR imaging in emerging commercial applications.”

The NIRvana family of products have led to advances in many applications including astronomy, life sciences, and semiconductor fabrication. The future looks bright for imaging applications involving SWIR. Investment in nanotechnology, including quantum dots and carbon nanotubes, is driving the requirement for user-friendly, high performance cameras. In life science, in-vivo imaging and the associated requirements for higher performance NIR-II probes is opening the door for end-user and OEM opportunities.

Regardless of the application, whether fluorescence microscopy, nanomaterials, in-vivo imaging, astronomy, agriculture, or semiconductor, the NIRvana HS will deliver the performance you need to reach your goals.

“Our collaboration is a natural fit,” says José Duarte, CEO of Infovista. “Both organizations have a combined 30 years of experience in this industry, but we each bring a different set of skills to the table. No one knows better than iBwave how to plan, design and deploy in-building wireless systems. And Infovista, which integrates the leading-edge Planet solution for RF planning and in-depth network testing for wireless networks, is uniquely positioned for the kind of innovation 5G demands.”

“Our combined core competencies will enable us to provide solutions that are unmatched in our industry,” added iBwave president and CEO Marc Bolick. “An indoor and outdoor-friendly RF planning solution has been a top priority for wireless operators across the globe for some time. This collaboration is a long-term commitment to operators, hosts, manufacturers and entrepreneurs with the goal of delivering superior, future-proof and continuous connectivity for in-building networks, large venues, campuses and the surrounding areas.”

Infovista and iBwave have consistently proven success in their respective industries, working with over 250+ wireless carriers and creating strong relationships with leading 5G vendors and integrators.

“By combining our expertise and aligning our solution strategies, Infovista and iBwave are able to offer to carriers and new entrants a highly integrated, holistic and easy-to-deploy wireless design solution that addresses the immense need for improved indoor/outdoor ecosystem connectivity,” Bolick says.

The new solution is currently being tested with lead customers for an anticipated release in Q2 2020. iBwave and Infovista will be demonstrating the solution to select invitees during Mobile World Congress 2020 (February 24-27) at Hall South Village.

Behind the Wheel: Art, Environment and Sustainability by FPT Industrial

CNH INDUSTRIAL N.V.

Behind the Wheel FPT Industrial

FPT Industrial has a reputation for technological excellence and innovation – its world-leading engines and drivelines are designed with a specific focus on sustainability. Find out what happens when the same qualities are applied to the brand’s unconventional sustainability programme in this latest episode of Behind the Wheel: cnhindustrial.com/artenvironmentsustainability_en

London, February 4, 2020

Our first location is the pretty seaside town of San Benedetto del Tronto located on Italy’s Adriatic coast, not only a popular tourist destination but a busy commercial port with a strong fishing heritage. It is here that FPT Industrial, the global powertrain brand of CNH Industrial N.V. (NYSE:CNHI / MI:CNHI), launched its “Fishing for Plastic” initiative in collaboration with “Clean Sea LIFE”, a European project whose aim is to raise awareness about marine waste and to empower local communities to become part of the solution. The results were quite astonishing with some three tons of plastic “fished” from the sea in a mere month. Following a successful debut, the initiative has now been rolled out in South America.

From the sea to the foothills of Alps – our next stop is a reforestation project in the Basse di Stura area to the north of Turin where FPT Industrial is working with the local community to plant some 1,000 trees transforming it into an all-around sustainable area. It is estimated that this project will help reduce carbon dioxide by some ten tons annually.

The final setting for the video is the iconic city of Venice and its world famous Biennale International Art Exhibition. FPT Industrial sponsored American artist Christian Holstad whose installation was made entirely from plastic waste and was inspired by the firsthand testimonies of the fisherman of San Benedetto del Tronto. The video follows Christian as he produces and delivers the artwork; its striking form truly encapsulates the importance of such an initiative.

The diverse locations, communities and projects highlight what can be achieved when committed groups of people come together.

Imran Khan says looking forward to next KL Summit

PUTRAJAYA, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan said today he is looking forward to attending the next KL Summit, and expressed sadness for having missed the inaugural conference in December last year.

Explaining his absence at the maiden meeting, Imran Khan said some friends had felt that the conference will divide the Muslim ummah.

Clearly, he said, it was a misconception because that was not the purpose of the conference as was evident after the summit had taken place.

It was evident it was not to divide the ummah. The KL Summit was far from that. In fact, (it was) to unite the ummah. Of course, I will love to come, he told a joint press conference with Malaysian Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad after their meeting here.

Imran Khan arrived last night for a two-day working visit to Malaysia.

He said he looked forward to attending the next KL Summit because he felt that the conference is very important for Muslim countries to educate Western countries about Islam and clear all misunderstanding.

He said Muslim countries need the media and added that a joint media can project a positive image of Islam and fight Islamophobia.

Asked whether his decision not to attend the inaugural KL Summit has affected his country’s relationship with other Muslim nations, Imran Khan said it did not have such an effect.
