Cologne: Thirteen of Cambodia’s leading rice processing and exporting companies are showcasing their products at the Cambodia Rice Federation Pavilion and engaging with potential international partners during ANUGA 2025, the world’s leading food and beverage trade fair, taking place in Cologne, Germany, from Oct. 4 to 8.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the Cambodia Rice Federation Pavilion was officially inaugurated on Oct. 4 by H.E. Samheng Bora, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Commerce and Chairman of the Export Promotion Task Force.
H.E. Samheng Bora mentioned that the launch of the Cambodian Rice Federation Pavilion aims to broaden market access and raise the profile of Cambodia’s premium-quality rice in European and global markets. He emphasized that the participation of these 13 exporters at ANUGA 2025 is a source of national pride, positioning Cambodian rice on the world stage. The pavilion serves as a strategic platform to boost exports and strengthen the international reputation of Camb
odian rice, which is one of the country’s key export products.
He further highlighted that beyond promoting quality and standards, Cambodia’s strong presence at this international exhibition reflects a commitment to attracting new investment and expanding direct supply networks with major buyers in Europe and beyond.
